京都で建築設計・施工を行なっているヤマサキ建築事務所のWebサイトデザインを担当。
ディレクション、デザイン、写真、動画制作を行い、建築事例の紹介にとどまらず、事務所としての姿勢や仕事への向き合い方が読み取れる構成とした。
動画と写真では、現場で働く大工たちの精緻で妥協のない仕事ぶりを、説明に頼らず直感的に伝えることを目指している。過度な装飾は避け、建築のスケール感や素材感、余白の取り方がそのまま画面上に反映されるWebサイトとして設計した。
更新を前提としたシンプルな構造とし、事務所の活動が継続的に蓄積されていく設計としている。

We handled the website design for Yamasaki Architects Studio, a Kyoto-based practice engaged in both architectural design and construction.
Our scope included direction, design, photography, and video production. Through photographs and video, the website aims to convey the craftsmen’s precise, uncompromising approach to their work in an intuitive way, without relying on explanation.
The design avoids excessive decoration, allowing scale, materiality, and spatial rhythm to translate directly onto the screen. The site is structured for ongoing updates, enabling the studio’s activities to accumulate over time.
