renacnattaによる振袖コレクション「Furisode Collection」を対象に、映像制作を担当した。
本プロジェクトは、振袖の制作工程や素材、柄の構成を背景に、衣服としての振袖が持つ要素を現代的な文脈で捉え直す試みである。
映像では、振袖のかたちや動き、布の重なり、着用時の所作を中心に記録し、説明を加えずとも質感や存在の仕方が感じられる構成としている。完成した衣装だけでなく、身にまとうことで生じる変化や時間の流れを含めて捉えた。
