京都市にある 泉屋博古館 にて開催された展覧会「特別展｜表装の愉しみ －ある表具師のものがたり」 の会場において、井口古今堂にて撮影した写真を使用いただいた。
本展では、住友家十五代・春翠と表具師・井口邨僊の交流を示す資料を通じて、表装という行為が作品や時代とどのように関わってきたかが紹介されている。
写真は、展示空間や資料の佇まいを通して、当時の空気や人の気配が感じられることを前提に撮影されたものであり、会場構成の一部として用いられた。

Photographs taken at Iguchi Kokondō were used in the exhibition
“The Pleasure of Mountings: The Story of a Mounting Artisan”, held at Sen-oku Hakuko Kan, Kyoto.
The exhibition presents materials that reveal the relationship between Haruaki Sumitomo, the 15th head of the Sumitomo family, and mounting artisan Iguchi Sonsen, offering insight into the role of mountings in their historical context.
The photographs were used as part of the exhibition space, capturing the atmosphere of the venue and materials so that the presence of the time and people involved could be felt.
The exhibition ran from November 3 to December 10, 2023.
